I'm Breana, a believer, a follower of Jesus Christ, born-again and renewed because of my Savior. By His grace and power, I am endeavoring to live every day in obedience to My Lord. I must honor my King and give Him the glory for what He graciously has done in me. The Christian life is similar to running in a race. Every believer's goal should be to win as we approach the finish line. In this life, I want to be that "good and faithful servant" the Lord described in Matthew 25:21. As a follower of Christ, I am to be faithful and obedient to Him, which is the same as striving to be victorious in this race of faith. I love 1 Corinthians 9:24-27:
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. 25 Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. 26 So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. 27 But I discipline my body and keep it under control..."
In writing this blog, I pray that the Lord would use me to help encourage other believers in this race of faith and also share the truth with those who may not know Christ.
